27,000 service members have already shared their experience of Basic General Military Training in the Army+ survey
The Army+ app continues to collect feedback on service members’ experience with Basic General Military Training (BGMT). During the first week alone, more than 27,000 service members took part in the BGMT survey, exceeding the average participation rate. On average, approximately 20,000 users participate in each survey.
The survey includes more than 30 questions and provides broad, structured feedback on how training is organized across different training centers, covering everything from accommodation and supplies to the training program, interaction with instructors, and how well the training aligns with real combat tasks.
The collected responses will serve as the basis for subsequent analysis to determine which stages of BGMT require enhancement and where priority changes should be made. This will support more accurate training policy development and help strengthen the processes that have the most significant impact on the quality of service members’ training.
To participate in the survey:
- Open the Army+ app;
- Go to the “Surveys” section;
- Select “Your experience on Basic General Military Training” and complete the anonymous questionnaire.
The survey will remain open until 10 December 2025.
The Ministry of Defence encourages everyone who has undergone Basic General Military Training to take part and share their experience. This is a direct contribution to improving the training system.
