Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization

Oleksii Reva is a major in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Education

Oleksii Reva is a graduate of Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava National Technical University (Poltava Polytechnic).

He received his military education at Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University.

Military service

He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in February 2022. In the first months of the full-scale war, he worked on mobilizing reserve officers in Poltava Oblast.

He later joined the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade Magura. With the brigade, he completed MDMP training in Germany and took part in combat missions during the 2023 counteroffensive in the Orikhiv direction.

He then joined the IT team of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, where he served for about two years. He helped build digital products such as Army+ and Impulse and led project teams.

He also served in the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence and in the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Before his appointment as Deputy Minister, he headed the Department of Military Training at Kyiv Aviation Institute National University, where he worked on modernizing the training of future officers for the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

On 23 September 2026, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization.
