Department of Personnel Policy
Main tasks:
Defining the principles of military personnel policy and implementing state policy on personnel management in the n the civil service, overall management, and oversight of the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's personnel agencies;
Forming and ensuring the implementation of the state policy in the area of military personnel policy;
Defining the principles of military personnel policy;
Implementing state policy on personnel management in the civil service within the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
Ensuring the head of the civil service exercises their powers on personnel management;
Organizing personnel work regarding:
Staffing of positions of the nomenclature of appointment of the President of Ukraine, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, including military service (training) abroad;
Assigning military ranks, awarding, and encouraging personnel;
Transferring officers to other military formations, special law enforcement agencies, and secondment to government agencies, institutions, and organizations;
Seconding military personnel to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and local councils with retention in military service;
Ensuring the organizational development of the Ministry of Defence, organizing and conducting organizational-staff and mobilization-personnel work within the Ministry of Defence;
Organizing the vetting of officials of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as required by the Law of Ukraine "On Lustration."
