Department of National Resistance Policy

The Department of National Resistance Policy of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is responsible for shaping and implementing state policy aimed at mobilizing society, supporting territorial defense, and developing mechanisms for civil participation in ensuring the country's defense.

Main tasks

The main tasks of the Department of National Resistance Policy include:

• Ensuring the formation and implementation of state policy on national resistance within the Ministry of Defence;
• Developing draft laws and other regulatory legal acts in the area of activity;
• Ensuring the exercise of powers by the Minister of Defence of Ukraine on national resistance issues;
• Ensuring the organization of the basic training of Ukrainian citizens for national resistance in accordance with the law;
• Organizing and ensuring, within the limits of the relevant defense expenditures, proper financing and resource provision of measures to prepare Ukrainian citizens for national resistance.
