Department of Military Policy and Strategic Planning

Main tasks: 

 

  • Ensuring the formation and implementation of state policy on national security in the military, defence, and military construction sectors during peacetime and special periods, determining the principles of military policy in the area of defense; 

  • Organizing defence planning activities within the defence forces; 

  • Ensuring military-political leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; 

  • Ensuring coordination of the activities of government agencies in preparing the state for defence.
