Department of Military Education and Science
Main tasks:
Determining the principles of state policy on military education and science to ensure high-quality training of highly qualified and competent military specialists for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations, priority directions for the development of scientific and technical activities in the defenсe sector;
Implementing the principle of "education throughout a military career";
Developing an effective system of professional military education that is integrated into the national education system and aligned with NATO standards bi-scd 075-007 "Education and Training";
Organizing centralized training of military specialists at the operational and strategic levels for the defenсe forces;
Creating prerequisites for the certification (accreditation) of professional military education courses and mutual recognition of certificates obtained in military educational institutions of Ukraine, NATO, and member states of the Alliance;
Establishing a quality assurance system for education in higher military educational institutions, military educational units of higher education institutions, institutions of specialized pre-higher military education, and military lyceums;
Improving the model for planning scientific and research activities within the Ministry of Defenсe of Ukraine in accordance with the procedures of capability-based defenсe planning;
Enhancing the language training level of the Armed Forces personnel and creating a continuous system for learning, improving, and maintaining foreign language proficiency during military service.
