Department of Internal Audit

Main tasks: 

  • Providing the Minister of Defence of Ukraine with objective and independent conclusions and recommendations (proposals) regarding: 

  • The functioning and improvement of the internal control system; 

  • Improvement of the financial and material resources management system; 

  • Preventing of facts of illegal, inefficient, and ineffective use of resources, as well as avoiding mistakes or other deficiencies in the activities of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and other organizational structures within the Ministry of Defence system. 

  • The Department is subordinate to the to the Minister of Defence of Ukraine. The activities of the Department are directed and coordinated by the Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine (according to the distribution of responsibilities).
