There are already 1,500 successfully passed exams in Army+ online training — Kateryna Chernohorenko
Over 6,000 service members have used the online training service introduced in the Army+ app just two weeks ago. Some have opted to take two or even all three currently available courses: "General Training," "Field Living Skills," and "Basics of UAVs."
"In just two weeks, military personnel have completed 2,000 online exams, including 1,500 successful ones. The training service has become a valuable tool within the military ecosystem. Feedback speaks for itself: experienced soldiers refreshed their knowledge, while new recruits found the courses a great supplement to basic training. Soon, we’ll be adding even more useful information to our database," said Deputy Minister of Digitalization Kateryna Chernohorenko.
The first survey in Army+, conducted in August, focused on training. The Ministry of Defense asked service members which online courses they’d like to see in the app. At that time, drone systems were the most requested, chosen by 16% of respondents. As a result, this course was among the first launched in Army+.
Currently, "Basics of UAVs" is the most popular online training course, chosen 60% more frequently than the other two.
Soon, two new topics will be added to the training courses: "Battlefield Communications" and "Psychological Preparedness."
"We want service members to have access to as many verified sources of knowledge for their duties as possible. And Army+ training is one such resource. Military personnel can rely on the materials in the app, as they meet current standards and enable more effective acquisition and improvement of service-related skills. Therefore, we encourage service members to take advantage of the training and acquire valuable knowledge for their service," emphasized Volodymyr Mirnenko, Director of the Department of Military Education and Science.
The Army+ application was launched in August this year with three services: electronic reports, surveys and Army ID. 360,000 military personnel created their accounts in the application. 16,000 electronic reports have already been submitted, which have the same legal force as paper ones.
