Army+ adds 6 new reports: learning, acting duties, and data changes

Six new electronic reports are now available in the Army+ app, covering a wide range of requests from service members – from learning during service to temporary duty assignments. The reports have been added to the relevant sections of the updated version of the app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Play Store.

Among the new reports are:

  • Discharge from service after captivity – for those wishing to end their service after being released from captivity.
  • Distance learning during service – for contract soldiers who want to obtain higher education through distance learning.
  • Assignment to acting duties – to officially confirm the appointment of a temporary acting officer.
  • Commencement of acting duties – confirms that a service member has begun performing new official duties.
  • Extension of service for those deemed unfit – for military personnel who have been declared unfit for duty by the Military Medical Commission but wish to continue their service.
  • Changes to personal data – if personal data has changed, for example, marital status.

All reports have a step-by-step submission format and information sheets with concise explanations. This allows service members to quickly and accurately submit their reports to the commander – in just a few minutes.

“We are providing new convenient tools to address the essential needs of military personnel. Changing personal data or assigning acting duties should be as easy as possible and not burdened with bureaucracy. Or take the report on distance learning – our service members have the right to obtain an education while on duty. And now it’s even easier to do with Army+,” noted Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.

As a reminder, electronic reports in Army+ were launched in August 2024. A total of 42 types of reports are already available in the application. In total, service members have already submitted over 600,000 electronic reports. The most popular ones are: health improvement (28%), annual leave (24%), change of duty station (21%), military service record (F5 Form) (10%), and financial assistance(2%).
