
Serhiy Boyev
Serhii Boyev was born on March 25, 1983 in Alchevsk, Luhansk region.
Education:
- 2004 — Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, Bachelor in International Economics;
- The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (USA), Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Fluent in Ukrainian and English, with basic knowledge of Spanish.
Awarded the Order of Merit, 3rd class.
Professional Experience
Started his professional career in the banking sector of Great Britain, working as an analyst at international financial institutions JPMorgan Chase & Co and Credit Suisse.
After returning to Ukraine, he worked on economics and strategic development at Boston Consulting Group Ukraine and in the energy sector, particularly at JSC "Ukrgasvydobuvannya" and NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine," where he held leadership positions responsible for strategic planning, business development, and analytics.
From April 2023, he served as advisor to the Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, and from May 2023 — as Deputy Minister for European Integration at the Ministry for Strategic Industries of Ukraine.
On October 15, 2024, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for European Integration.
In April 2025, he was appointed First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
He has 16 years of experience in economics, strategic planning, industry, and security.
