Department of Military-Technical Policy, Armament, and Military Equipment Development
Main tasks:
Ensuring the implementation of state policy on national security in the areas within the Department's competence, based on continuous analysis of the situation during peacetime and special periods regarding:
Forming military-technical policy on the development, modernization, and procurement of armament and military equipment;
Organizing scientific research and development works for the research, development, and modernization of armaments and military equipment;
Implementation of international cooperation in the military-technical sphere, within the limits of its authority, with the relevant bodies of foreign states and international organizations.
